1. Why, does it hurt when I get things wrong? Why do I Always have to be right? What is it that makes mistakes so hard to bear? When Being wrong is the means by which we learn 2. A child learns to walk by falling over. Yet at school one and one must make two. Failure is not an option for the clever Yet Being wrong is the means by which we learn Dare to think, dare to try dare to build, the world you want. Dare to imagine, dare to believe dare to accept, you might make mistakes. For being wrong is the means by which we learn 3. We are told your future is in the balance You must make the right decision every time. But who knows what we will find by being wrong For Being wrong is the means by which we learn

When the world got sick There was fear in my heart And doubt deep in my mind

Darkness had fallen I was dazed and confused My world had come to an end

Family and friends Were now well out of reach Memories my only consolation

Then just as I lost hope A light began to grow ‘As was’ gave way to the new Dazed and confused now mean nothing to me For now, I am living in a relative way Each moment of each day Precious in itself A wise man once said You can know the world Without leaving your home.

It was hard to believe Until I was forced to look What lay in my soul

Now I know That if only I look A universe is in my heart

The sun, moon, and stars Point the way Lifting my eyes to all around Dazed and confused now mean nothing to me For now, I am living in a relative way Each moment of each day Precious in itself New ways of living New ways of working New ways of being human Since time long passed We have adapted Living in a relative way Tropical forests, volcanic islands Frozen lands, hot dry deserts All became our home So, what if the world changes What if the rich become poor And the poor inherit the earth? Dazed and confused now mean nothing to me For now, I am living in a relative way Each moment of each day Precious in itself

How it all started is often debated. Some say this, some say that; mysteries unknown yet await the explorer,
awe and wonder the glittering prize. In the cold vacuum the atom then splitting,
 1 became 2, became 4, became 8.
Mysteries unknown brought to the present, awe and wonder the glittering prize. Citizens of heaven and earth
 Faiths, races, peoples and nations
All are part of the human story
Why not live in peace and glory. Atoms united in blocks of life building
one single cell, nameless now, lost to time, Mysteries unknown being born and then dying; awe and wonder the glittering prize. Gases coalescing, forces unleashed
elements forming in the hearts of stars,
Mysteries unknown brought to existence awe and wonder the glittering prize. Citizens of heaven and earth
 Faiths, races, peoples and nations
All are part of the human story
Why not live in peace and glory. Jupiter’s moons, ice rings of Saturn,
small mote of dust we now call our home
mysteries revealed made visible to all
Earth and all there the glittering prize. Will you sound all the fears that you carry Share and become the voice of the many Mysteries unknown being all that unites us Awe and wonder our glittering prize. Citizens of heaven and earth
 Faiths, races, peoples and nations
All are part of the human story
Why not live in peace and glory.

Simple Life 06:43
“How are you?”, we are often asked. “I’m fine, how are you?” we reply. True or not, we build our day On commonplace deception. Joy and sadness, we carry with us Constant companions in daily life. To hide from both, we build our day On commonplace deception. It’s hard work trying to remember all the silly little white lies. Entangled in a self-constructed web Of commonplace deception. So, we hide in our own caves Echoing with ‘music' of our own making, Thoughts and feelings rehearsed over time In a commonplace deception. There is no power on earth that can withstand the influence of a simple, honest, and useful life. Swimming in a sea of information we struggle from day to day Trapped, or so we believe, in a commonplace delusion Politics and business construct the world we, the consumer inhabit Those who cannot play the game drown in the commonplace delusion This is how it has always been there is nothing that we can do Sweet words that allow us to sit back in the commonplace delusion. So, we hide in our own caves Echoing with ‘music' of our own making, Thoughts and feelings rehearsed over time In a commonplace delusion. There is no power on earth that can withstand the influence of a simple, honest, and useful life. Time and time again, it has been shown That using words to manipulate others Confuses and perplexes the mind in a commonplace bewilderment. In faith, in politics, in everyday life Once you cannot trust what you are told You enter a maze where every turn leads to commonplace bewilderment. So, I'm going to cross the door of my cave Leave the ‘music' of my own making, Let go of rehearsed thoughts and feelings In a commonplace truthfulness for There is no power on earth that can withstand the influence of a simple, honest, and useful life.
